Nuclear energy powers nearly one-fifth of America but the fuel behind those reactors depends on a process called Uranium Enrichment and America has almost completely lost control of it At our peak the United States performed more than 90% of the world's Uranium Enrichment. Today it's less than 1%. Russia now controls roughly 44% of the global market. Think about that. One of America's biggest adversaries controls a major part of the fuel supply behind our electrical grid.
