FOR CHURCHES AND SPEAKERS

Turn sermons and speeches into shorts.

A sermon is forty minutes given to a room. The people who could not come, and the people who have never come, will watch one minute of it on a phone. shortshort finds the passages that carry a complete message, keeps the speaker in frame and captions every word for a silent feed.

One message per clip

The selection keeps passages that open and close a thought: the verse and what it means, the story and its point. Sixty seconds is usually the right length, and the AI may run a little longer to finish the sentence.

A single speaker, followed for an hour

A pulpit or a stage, one person, a wide camera: the crop stays on the speaker as they move, with a gentle zoom on the words that carry weight.

Captions for a feed with the sound off

Most people will see the clip muted. Word-timed captions make the message readable in full, at the pace it was spoken.

A weekly rhythm that costs little

A 44-minute service costs 44 credits. The Starter plan covers two services a month; Creator covers the whole month with room to spare.

How it works for sermons and speeches

Five steps. About two minutes of your time.

  1. 01Drop the service recording, up to 3 hours
  2. 02Ask for 5 or 6 clips of about a minute
  3. 03The AI keeps passages that carry one complete message
  4. 04The speaker is followed in 9:16 across the stage or pulpit
  5. 05Download the clips and post one each day of the week

Suggested captions: Karaoke. A message is followed word by word. Karaoke colours the words as they are spoken, at the pace of the voice.

Questions people ask

Our recording includes music and announcements. Will clips be cut from those?

The AI favours spoken passages with complete sentences, which is where the message is. Music segments are rarely selected; if one is, remove it in the studio and render again.

Can the clip be longer than 60 seconds?

Yes. The target duration goes up to 90 seconds, and a clip can run up to 25% longer than the target to finish a sentence.

Do we need a video team?

No. Whoever has the recording drops it in the browser, chooses the number of clips and downloads the MP4s. The steps run in the background on paid plans.

Will our services appear in the public gallery?

Exported shorts join the community by default. Any paid plan includes the option to keep all your videos out of it, applied to past and future exports.

Free to try with 60 credits. Your source video stays yours; the shorts you export join the community, and a plan keeps them out of it.
