Screen recordings keep their detail

When a lesson shows code, a spreadsheet or a diagram, the frame is kept full so the detail survives. When it is you at the desk, the crop follows you.

Questions people ask

How do I turn course videos into short clips?

Upload one lesson at a time, up to 2 GB in MP4, MOV or WebM, then choose how many clips you want and a target length between 15 and 90 seconds. The AI transcribes the lesson and keeps the passages that explain one complete idea; screen recordings stay full-frame, you are cropped to 9:16 on your face when on camera, with automatic zooms, and every word is captioned. Each clip is a 1080 x 1920 MP4, a lesson costs one credit per minute, and the 30 free credits at sign-up cover lessons of up to 30 minutes in total.

Do I need to re-record anything?

No. The clips come from the lesson as it was recorded. If you later change a passage or the captions, the source stays the same and only the clip is rendered again.

My lessons are mostly screen recordings. Does vertical make sense?

The parts that show a screen are kept full-frame, so the text stays readable, and the parts where you are on camera are cropped to 9:16. Clips that mix both are common and work well.

How long should a course clip be?

Between 30 and 60 seconds is usually right: long enough to explain one idea, short enough to be watched to the end. You choose the target, and the AI may run up to 25% shorter or longer to finish a sentence.

Can I export the plan to render clips elsewhere?

Yes. On every plan the studio exports the JSON edit plan of the open short, under Edit files, with the passages, the framing keyframes and the timed words, for rendering in your own pipeline. The Studio plan, 79 EUR a month excl. VAT, adds a download of the plan of every saved short from My projects.
