Turn a webinar recording into shorts.

A webinar is recorded once and watched by the people who registered. The recording holds a dozen moments worth a post, and the Q&A at the end is usually the best part. shortshort finds them, keeps slides legible and turns the recording into a month of content.

Slides stay full-frame, the presenter gets the crop

Scene detection tells a slide from a face. When the recording switches to a slide, the clip keeps the full image so the text stays readable; when the presenter is back, the frame follows them.

The Q&A is treated as what it is: a list of answers

Questions from the audience are complete units. The AI cuts on the question and its answer, which gives you clips that stand alone without context.

Numbers and claims get the emphasis

Impact captions highlight one word per line. On a webinar that word is the figure, the product name or the objection, which is what stops the scroll.

Generate in the background, come back later

On Creator and Studio the eight steps run on the server. Upload the recording, close the tab, and the clips are in My projects when you return.

How it works for webinars

Five steps. About two minutes of your time.

  1. 01Drop the webinar recording, up to 3 hours
  2. 02Ask for 8 to 10 clips of 30 to 45 seconds
  3. 03The transcript is read for complete answers and key claims
  4. 04Slides are kept full-frame, the presenter is reframed in 9:16
  5. 05Download the MP4s or hand them to whoever runs your social accounts

Suggested captions: Impact. A webinar clip has to carry one number or one claim. Impact makes that word the only thing on screen.

Questions people ask

Will the slides be readable in a vertical clip?

Yes. Slides and wide shots are detected and kept as a full image with the empty space above and below, instead of being cropped to a 9:16 slice that would cut the text.

Can I make clips from the Q&A only?

Ask for clips of 30 to 60 seconds: complete question-and-answer pairs are the most quotable units the AI finds, and they usually dominate the selection. You can also trim any clip to the exact passage in the studio.

Our webinars run over an hour. Is that a problem?

No. The limit is 3 hours and 2 GB per file. A 75-minute recording costs 75 credits, whatever the number of clips.

Can we keep our recordings out of the public gallery?

Yes. Exported shorts join the community by default; every paid plan includes the option to keep your videos private, applied to past and future exports.

A 48-minute webinar, 8 shorts, one drop.

Free to try with 60 credits. Your source video stays yours; the shorts you export join the community, and a plan keeps them out of it.
