shortshort
FOR AGENCIES

Clip client videos at a cost you can quote.

An agency prices a deliverable before the footage arrives. shortshort charges by the minute of source video, not by the short, so a 90-minute client recording costs 90 credits whether you deliver 5 clips or 20 on the Studio plan, and the quote can be written before the upload. It is the same shortshort studio everyone uses, one account with no seats and no team workspace, so read the limits below before you put it in a proposal.

60 free credits, no cardUp to 3 hours per videoMP4 · 1080 × 1920

A quote you can write before the upload

One credit buys one minute of source, however many shorts you ask for. Studio gives 3,000 credits a month, which is 50 hours of client video: ten clients sending five hours each, or a single client sending a two-hour recording every working day, at 79 EUR a month or 758 EUR a year, VAT on top.

Up to 20 shorts per video, only on Studio

The number of shorts a video can yield depends on the plan: 3 on Free, 5 on Starter, 10 on Creator and 20 on Studio. A selected passage is not reused between shorts, and each short carries its own title and its own framing, so a Studio client receives 20 distinct deliverables rather than 20 crops of the same moment.

A JSON edit plan for your own render pipeline

Studio exports every short as a JSON edit plan: the in and out points, the framing keyframes and the timed words. If your studio already renders through its own pipeline, feed it the plan and add the lower thirds, the logo animation and the music there, since shortshort adds none of these itself and exports only 1080 x 1920 MP4 at 30 fps.

One brand preset, so one house style

Caption colour and font can be set on every video on any plan; Studio saves one combination as a preset and applies it to each new upload. There is a single preset per account, not a template per client, which suits an agency with one look across its work and means a manual change per video for an agency with ten looks.

How it works for agencies

Five steps, the same studio as everyone else.

  1. 01Upload the client's recording, MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 3 hours and 2 GB, from your shortshort account
  2. 02Ask for up to 20 shorts of 15 to 90 seconds, the Studio ceiling
  3. 03The AI transcribes the full recording word by word and proposes complete, quotable passages, one per short
  4. 04Review each proposal in the studio: move a cut, lock a keyframe, swap the caption style, or leave it as proposed
  5. 05Let the render run in the background on the server, download each MP4 on its own, or export the JSON edit plan to your own renderer

Questions people ask

Can several people at the agency work in one shortshort account?

shortshort has no team workspace and no seats: an account is one login. An agency that wants several editors on the tool opens one account per editor, or one per client, and each account holds its own credits, its own library and, on Studio, its own brand preset.

How much does a month of client work cost on Studio?

shortshort's Studio plan is 79 EUR a month or 758 EUR a year, VAT added on top, for 3,000 credits. A credit is one minute of source video, so the month covers 50 hours of footage across every client, and the number of shorts per video changes nothing in the price. If a month runs over, a top-up of 200 credits is 9 EUR, 600 credits 24 EUR and 2,000 credits 69 EUR.

Can we deliver the shorts without any trace of shortshort on them?

shortshort exports without a watermark on every paid plan, so nothing on the file names the tool. Mind the default: an exported short joins the public community unless the account has opted out or that short is kept private, and a community page shows the short, the original video and the transcript. Starter, Creator and Studio can switch that off for the whole account or short by short; set the opt-out once on the account before the first client export and no client footage is seen by anyone outside the account.

Is there an API to plug shortshort into our workflow?

No. shortshort has no API, no MCP server, no scheduling and no analytics, and it publishes clips to no platform. What Studio offers instead is the JSON edit plan of each short, which your own rendering server can read, and background rendering so a long recording finishes while the tab is closed.

Can we keep a different caption look for each client?

Not as saved presets. A shortshort account on Studio stores one brand preset, and that is the one loaded when a new video opens. Caption colour and font are still adjustable per video on any plan, so a second client's look is set by hand on each of their videos, and the choice between the four caption styles, Spotlight, Impact, Karaoke and Minimal, is made per video too.

Start with one video, on the free credits.

60 credits cover a first hour. Move to Studio when the volume asks for it; the price and the credits are on the pricing page, nothing hidden.
