shortshort
FOR MARKETING TEAMS

A month of shorts from the videos marketing already has.

A marketing team records more than it publishes: the webinar, the product demo, the customer call, the founder interview. shortshort, the same studio behind every plan, reads each recording word by word and proposes shorts chosen to end where the sentence ends, at a price set by the length of the source and not by how many clips you take from it. It is one account with no seats and no analytics: the shorts go out on the team's YouTube channel from a calendar, TikTok publishing is in early access, and the rest are downloaded and passed to the colleague who posts them.

Why it fits marketing teams

Four facts, each with its number.

1,600 credits, 26 hours 40 minutes of source a month

Creator is 29 EUR a month, or 278 EUR a year, for 1,600 credits, and a credit is one minute of video. Four 45-minute webinars, six 30-minute demos and a 60-minute interview add up to 420 minutes, about a quarter of the month, with the rest kept for what the sales team sends over.

10 shorts from one recording, each on its own passage

Creator allows up to 10 shorts per video; Free stops at 3, Starter at 5, and the Studio plan goes to 20. The AI does not pick the same passage twice, and each short gets its own title and its own crop, so a 48-minute webinar becomes ten posts that stand on their own rather than ten variations of the opening.

Upload, close the tab, come back to the clips

With an account, generation and rendering run on our servers on every plan. Once the upload finishes, the person who sent the recording can shut the laptop; the shorts are waiting in the library afterwards.

Top up in a busy month instead of moving plan

On the Creator and Studio plans, extra credits come in packs of 400, 1,200 or 4,000. A launch month with 40 hours of recordings needs 2,400 credits: the 1,600 of the month plus the 1,200 pack, without a change of plan.

How it works for marketing teams

Five steps, the same studio as everyone else.

  1. 01Upload the webinar or demo: MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 2 GB
  2. 02Ask for up to 10 shorts, the Creator ceiling, of 15 to 90 seconds
  3. 03The AI reads the whole transcript and keeps complete claims and answers
  4. 04The render runs on our servers: close the tab, come back later
  5. 05Schedule each short on the team's YouTube channel from the calendar, or download the MP4 for the other platforms; TikTok publishing is in early access

While marketing teams repurpose webinars into engaging shorts, using an AI-powered SEO platform can ensure these clips are optimized for search engines, enhancing visibility and audience reach.

Questions people ask

Can the whole marketing team share one shortshort account?

Seats and shared workspaces do not exist in shortshort. One account means one login, with its own credits and its own library, and a team that wants two people clipping in parallel opens two accounts. Neither the Creator plan nor the Studio plan adds users to an account.

Does shortshort post the shorts to LinkedIn, TikTok or YouTube?

To YouTube, yes: connect the channel on the Publish page, pick a day and time for each short or auto-fill the calendar, and the shorts go out with titles and descriptions in the language you choose. TikTok publishing is in early access and not open to every account yet. Not to LinkedIn: those shorts download as H.264 MP4s at 30 fps, 1080 x 1920 in 9:16 or 1080 x 1350 in 4:5, one by one or all at once in a ZIP with and without captions, and the team posts them with the tools it already uses. LinkedIn's help pages accept an uploaded video at any aspect ratio from 1:2.4 to 2.4:1, which covers both 9:16 and 4:5, and name 4:5 as the recommended vertical ratio for video ads. There are no analytics. Guide: 4:5 video size, and when to use it instead of 9:16. LinkedIn Help: Video sharing troubleshooting, read . LinkedIn Help: Video ads advertising specifications, read .

What happens when 1,600 credits run out mid-month?

Accounts on shortshort's Creator and Studio plans can buy a top-up: 400 credits for 9 EUR, 1,200 for 24 EUR or 4,000 for 69 EUR, VAT on top. Credits are spent per minute of source, so a 45-minute webinar takes 45 credits whatever the number of shorts, and the plan's 1,600 credits are monthly.

Can we keep webinar recordings and clips private?

The recordings and drafts stay private until you export. Unless told otherwise, shortshort then puts every exported short in its public community, on every plan, with the source video and the transcript of the short on its page. The three paid plans, Starter, Creator and Studio, can turn that off for the whole account, before or after exporting, and on any plan a short already published can be taken down, after which its page is gone from the gallery. The temporary copy shortshort makes for the analysis is deleted when the analysis finishes.

Can we apply our brand colours to the captions?

Caption colour and font are set per video on every shortshort plan, with a choice of four styles: Spotlight, Impact, Karaoke and Minimal. Saving that combination as a preset that loads on every new video is a feature of the Studio plan, and each account holds one preset. Creator sets the colours by hand on each video. No logo, on-screen title or music is added by the tool.

Start with one video, on the free credits.

30 credits cover one video of up to 30 minutes, no card, so start with a shorter recording. Move to Creator when the volume asks for it.
