Zoom's recording is an MP4, one of the three formats accepted, and up to 2 GB fit in one upload. Each short is an MP4 you can upload to LinkedIn as a native video, in 9:16 at 1080 x 1920 or 4:5 at 1080 x 1350, and the 9:16 file also goes to YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Reels.
When someone shares a screen, the studio detects it and keeps the full frame; when the camera is back, the 9:16 crop follows the face.
Every word is transcribed on the audio before selection starts, and the selected passages are timed again word by word for captions.

Speaker view, where one person fills the frame: the 9:16 crop is placed on the face on screen and moves with it, and scene detection resets it when the recording cuts to another shot. A gallery view with several tiles is kept full-frame rather than cropped to one tile; there is no manual framing to move.
