The exact wording of each VEED cell, as read on their site

Longest video: For AI Clips the limit is on speech, not runtime: "Mininum of 1 minute speech in the video. Maximum of 3 hours speech in the video. The video can be longer, but the speech in the file has to be in between these 2 limits." (their spelling of "Mininum"). Their FAQ adds "Clips is designed for videos that are 1 minute or longer with spoken audio to generate meaningful highlights." For the editor generally: "There's no limit on the length of an individual file. We do recommend keeping the total project length to around 4–5 hours." Output side, the comparison grid caps "Video Export Length" at "10 minutes" on Free and "Unlimited" on every paid plan; and Clips itself is built short: "The Clips feature is designed to create short clips, mainly a minute or shorter clips."^[1]
Largest file: "On the Free plan, each file can be up to 1 GB. That's per file, not per project, so you can have several smaller files in one project. Paid plans have no per-file limit, though we recommend keeping a project's total under 5 GB for smooth performance." The new-project pop-up offers four options: "Upload files", "Upload from phone: send files across from your mobile device", "Record: capture new footage with the built-in recorder" (screen, camera or both), "Start with AI: generate your first asset instead of uploading one"; inside an existing project you can also pull from stock video/music/images and from a Brand Kit. Uploading "works the same way on the web at veed.io, in the Android app, and in the iOS app"; on Android the device picker can reach "your gallery, Downloads, Google Drive, or any other storage provider you have set up", which is the OS picker rather than a VEED integration. A link route IS stated, but only on the marketing page, not in the help article: the Video Editor tool page's step 1 reads "Drag and drop your video file or paste a link. Crop follows the speaker: Yes, for clips, though stated loosely. Listed under "What Clips Do Automatically?": "Auto-framing : Keeps the speaker front and center, regardless of aspect ratio". The same article's opening line says "We automatically find highlights, add subtitles, center the speaker, remove filler words, and format the video for social." This is framed as keeping the speaker centred, not as face tracking that follows movement, and nothing on their domain says whether it re-frames shot by shot, follows a moving subject, or switches between multiple speakers. Two adjacent capabilities exist but are not the same thing: "Detect Speakers" for subtitles (Pro and above) labels who is talking rather than framing them, and OpenEdit's example prompt "Reframe this to 9x16 and keep the speaker centered" is the agent pipeline, not Clips.^[1]
Automatic captions: Yes, automatic. The comparison grid gives Free "10 min/mo" of Auto Subtitles; every paid plan shows "Unlimited*", and the pricing FAQ defines the asterisk: "All paid plans include unlimited subtitle generation, subject to a fair use limit of 50 hours per month. The subtitle styles and customization options available depend on your plan, with more advanced styles unlocked on higher tiers." Inside AI Clips: "Auto-subtitles : Adds captions in over 100 languages". Their language table lists 256 languages, of which I counted 188 marked as supported for transcription. Styling, from the auto-subtitle article: preset styles plus font, font size, colour, bold/italic, alignment, letter casing, line height, letter spacing, number of lines, text outline, text shadow, background, animation, "Auto Highlight", "Auto Emoji" and "Random Rotate Lines"; low-confidence words are flagged in orange and you can add words to a dictionary. "Dynamic Subtitles" are ticked on every plan; "Subtitle Styles" are "Limited" on Free and Creator and "Unlimited" from Pro. You can also skip the AI: "Add subtitles manually by typing them in. Upload an existing subtitle file (.SRT or .VTT)." Speaker labelling is paid: "Please note that Detect Speakers is a paying feature. This is only available for users on the PRO plan or higher". (The comparison grid prints a raw "4096" for those three tiers instead of a label - see notes.) On frame rate they give a ceiling rather than a figure: "If the original FPS (frames per second) of the uploaded video is lower than the FPS set in export settings, VEED will use the original FPS. FPS limits only apply when the uploaded video has an FPS higher than 60." And there is no upscaling: "If the original video quality is lower than the chosen export resolution, VEED will not enhance it beyond its original quality." Manual editor: Yes, two layers of it. For clips there is a transcript-based editor: "Preview your clips and make adjustments using our transcript-based editor , extend clips by highlighting additional sentences or trim by removing text." The help article describes the same controls: "You can click on the Trim button for each clip to trim the start and end of the clip. We will display the script for the clip and you can use the handles at the start and end of the text to trim the clip", and "Clicking on the Edit button will take you to the editor to fully customize the clip, including the subtitles." Behind that sits VEED's full timeline editor, the "Free Online Video Editor", whose own page promises "Trim, crop, and arrange clips on the timeline. Add text, subtitles, and music." Subtitle translation shows as "Translate with Credits" on every plan including Free, and is metered by minute: "Translations are minute-based and count toward your plan's allowance... if you add subtitles to a 30-minute video, it won't use any of your translation allowance. If you then translate that video from English to Spanish, it will use 30 minutes. Translating the same video into another language would use an additional 30 minutes." Unused minutes do not roll over. The paid cards say "Translate to 50+ Languages"; their own language table is larger, listing 256 languages of which I counted 235 marked as supported for translation. Dubbed audio is a separate, much tighter allowance: "AI Dubbing" is "Try once" on Free and on Creator, then - on monthly billing - "30 min/mo" on Pro and "1 hr/mo" on Studio, "Custom" on Enterprise; the same row reads "6 hr/yr" and "12 hr/yr" when the page is switched to yearly billing. Virality score: Yes, but it is four sub-scores rather than one virality number. Verbatim from the tool page FAQ: "Each generated clip receives scores for Flow, Impact, Clarity, and Relevance (rated out of 10). These metrics help you identify which clips are most likely to perform well with your audience." And from the body copy: "VEED's AI automatically analyzes your content for flow, impact, clarity, and relevance to help you identify clips with viral potential. Our scoring system makes clip selection more efficient. The final choice of what resonates with your audience is always yours." The help centre is vaguer about the same thing - it calls it "Clip rating : Identifies and surfaces the most engaging moments" and only says "You will see ratings for different aspects that you can review", with a star to favourite clips and a switch to show only favourites. The named four-metric breakdown appears on the marketing page, not in the help centre.^[6]
B-roll, music, titles: Yes. "The AI B-Roll feature automatically adds relevant images and video clips to your project, based on the words spoken in your video." A B-roll track appears in the timeline "synced to key points in your narration", and each item can be regenerated or replaced with your own upload or a stock video; you can also regenerate the whole set. It needs speech: "The B-Roll feature requires speech to generate visuals. If no speech is detected, it will notify you that B-Roll cannot be generated." Availability per that article: "Free and Lite plan users: One-time use(Try once)" / "Pro plan users: Unlimited usage" - note those are stale plan names; the current comparison grid shows "AI B-Roll" as "Try once" on Free and a tick on Creator, Pro, Studio and Enterprise. Publishes to social: No. Their help centre states it flatly: "Does Veed allow direct publishing of videos to external platforms? No, Veed requires users to manually upload exported videos to external platforms. While this involves an extra step, it provides flexibility in sharing across platforms." And: "Can I share videos directly on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok? To share videos on these or other websites, you must download the videos, head over to the video-sharing website, and upload the video there." What VEED offers instead is link sharing with access control and commenting, email sharing, GIF sharing ("the first 2 seconds of your video as a GIF") and website embeds - and embeds are paid: "the embed option isn't available for users with the Free plan. It is included in the Pro or higher plans." No scheduling or content calendar is described anywhere I could find. The comparison grid has an "Integrations" row ticked for Enterprise only; no page says what those integrations are (the row's hover tooltip in the page's own payload is just "Link up your video production workflow"). One piece of marketing copy cuts the other way and should not be read as auto-posting: the Resize Video page says you can "export and upload directly", which the help centre's answer above contradicts if read as direct publishing.^[10]
