PUBLIC GALLERY

A public gallery of shorts next to the videos they came from.

A gallery of finished shorts says little on its own, so shortshort shows the whole video each one was cut from, next to the result. That page is the community, and any paid plan lets you keep your own shorts out of it.

What a community page shows

The short, the original video it came from, the transcript and the display name of the person who exported it. Search engines can index the page, so a short can be found by the words spoken in it.

The default on Free

On the Free plan, an exported short joins the community. That is the trade for the 60 free credits and the watermarked export; the source video is shown on the page alongside the short.

Opt out on any paid plan

Starter at 12 EUR per month, Creator at 29 EUR and Studio at 79 EUR all include the option to keep shorts private, either for the whole account or one short at a time. A short you withdraw leaves the gallery at once.

What stays private regardless

Drafts, the shorts you did not export and the source file of a video you have not published from stay private. The temporary copy made for the analysis is deleted once the analysis is finished.

How it works, step by step

The same studio for every video; this is the part this page is about.

  1. 01Export a short from the shortshort studio: it appears on a community page with its source video and transcript.
  2. 02Browse the gallery to see how other recordings were cut, framed and captioned.
  3. 03On a paid plan, switch the account to private or withdraw a single short.
  4. 04Share the community link of a short you keep public: visitors see the vertical short next to the landscape recording and the transcript.

Questions people ask

Is my source video public?

A source video becomes public only if you export a short from it and leave that short in the community. A community page shows the short with the video it came from and the transcript. A video you analysed but never exported from stays private, and the analysis copy is deleted once the analysis is done.

How do I keep my shorts out of the community?

Subscribe to Starter, Creator or Studio. Each of these plans lets you set the whole account to private or keep individual shorts out while publishing others. The Free plan does not include this option.

Can I remove a short I already published?

A published short can be withdrawn on any paid plan, Starter, Creator or Studio. Withdraw it from the studio and its community page, with the source video and transcript it showed, is removed.

What does a community page show to a visitor?

The exported short, the full source video, the transcript and the display name on the account. Visitors can compare the vertical short with the landscape original and read what is said.

Is the community a place to post from?

No. The community is a gallery of before-and-after pages, not a feed you post to, and it reports no views or analytics. Each page carries the short and the recording it came from; the MP4 you download from the studio is what goes to TikTok, Shorts or Reels.

Is the community separate from the studio?

No. The community is where shorts exported from the shortshort studio are shown. There is no separate upload or account for it: the same account that analyses, edits and renders a short decides whether it appears there.

See it on one of your videos.

Free to try with 60 credits. Your source video stays yours; the shorts you export join the community, and a plan keeps them out of it.
